The Hinds County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of an inmate at the Raymond Detention Center.
On Sunday afternoon, Sheriff Tyree Jones posted on Twitter that 32-year-old Brandon Flowers was found earlier in the day hanging in his cell.
HCSO is conducting a death investigation at the Raymond Detention Center. Brandon Flowers-32 was found unresponsive and hanging in his cell by officers at 11:10AM. MBI is on scene and will assume the investigation.

Flowers, who was booked at the jail in June 2021, was being held for the 2019 murder of 55-year-old Antonio Lovaglio.
At this time, no foul play is suspected.
