Police are investigating after three people were found dead in a Madison County home over the weekend.

According to Ridgeland Police Chief Brian Myers, officers received a call around 3:30 p.m. about a triple homicide that had occurred at a residence on Old Canton Road. Upon arrival, law enforcement found individuals aged 42, 56, and 76 in the living room deceased from gunshot wounds.

This is a developing story. No arrests have been made in connection to the deaths. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is assisting RPD in assessing the case.

The incident out of Ridgeland comes just two days after police in neighboring Jackson made an arrest stemming from a triple homicide.

While the two cases are not connected, the Jackson Police Department’s Action Team arrested 27-year-old Jimal Tarvin on Friday for taking the lives of Travis Burrell, Jamie Hoard, and Nicole Garrett.
