As journalists, we are often blessed with the opportunity to meet really incredible people. About 2 years ago, Trung Nguyen was one of those remarkable individuals I crossed paths with, and he became a dear friend.
I learned today that he is being deployed to the Middle East.
In his Facebook post, Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell mentioned that Trung, affectionately referred to as “T”, won the Warrior of the Year competition in 2019. It wasn’t easy, but you can read about his journey below.
