A Jackson County man is being charged with murdering his father. 77-year-old Thomas Baxter was found deceased in the home he shared with his son late Tuesday morning. 48-year-old Robert Baxter was arrested in the afternoon with help from the U.S. Marshals. He’s being held in the Jackson County Adult Detention Center without bond. An Autopsy is pending to determine the cause of his father’s death.
