Jackson police are investigating the death of a man who was discovered under a bridge along Interstate 55.
Authorities were notified about a deceased subject underneath the frontage road bridge near Canton Mart on Tuesday around 4 p.m.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene and located the body. Officials later identified the deceased as 35-year-old Cedric Gray. The cause of death has not yet been determined.
