With football season less than two weeks away for Jackson State, the Tigers are offering fans a chance to celebrate with the team this weekend.
On Saturday, head coach TC Taylor will be hosting a party and fundraiser called “Committed: Thee Experience” at the Jackson Convention Complex. The event will go from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and feature live music, food, drinks, and a chance to meet Taylor and other Jackson State coaches.

Tickets are available now. Proceeds and donations from the event will go toward supporting the Jackson State football program.
“Our community partners are a major lifeline for our program,” Taylor said. “Donations and proceeds from an event such as this will be used to take care of daily needs within our program such as purchasing water, Gatorade, protein shakes and powder, equipment purchasing and repair, and more. JSU does not take these opportunities for granted.”
On Sunday, from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., the annual Bleed Thee Blue Fan Fest will take place on the campus of Jackson State at the Lee E. Williams Athletics and Assembly Center. The free event will feature all fall sports teams, music, and entertainment.
