A longtime Mississippi restaurant manager has been taken into custody for alleged sex crimes against children.
First reported by Breezy News, Alejandro “Alex” Hernandez was placed in handcuffs by deputies with the Attala County Sheriff’s Office who were assisted by officers with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.
An assessment conducted by law enforcement discovered that Hernandez, who supervised at an unspecified local eatery, took to social media platforms and text messaging as a means to lure minors for illicit purposes. He now faces two charges of child exploitation and is being held in the Leake County Correctional Facility.
Authorities suspect that there are more victims of Hernandez’ alleged sex crimes and urge those who may have been groomed by the subject to report their accounts to police.
Those who may have received inappropriate or suggestive messages from Hernandez are asked to contact Attala County investigator Jacob Edwards or Chief Deputy Kelly Mitchell by calling (662)289-5556.
