One of the world’s most recognizable hip-hop artists will soon take the stage in Starkville.

Ludacris will headline the annual Bulldog Bash on the campus of Mississippi State University on Friday, Oct. 4. The free, outdoor concert will be held at the city intersection of Jackson and Main Streets with the Atlanta rapper bringing hits such as “My Chick Bad,” “Act A Fool,” and “Area Codes” to Mississippi State and music fans alike.

Throughout his nearly three-decade career, Ludacris has sold more than 24 million albums worldwide while going on to win three Grammy Awards, among other honors. He has also found a second calling in Hollywood as a part-time actor, appearing in hit films such as “Fast & Furious” when he’s not recording in the studio or performing for thousands of fans.

Bulldog Bash will also include the Maroon Market during the day beginning at 3:30 p.m., showcasing local musicians on stage and featuring art, food vendors, and a kid zone. The entire event is sponsored by MSU’s Student Association.
