It’s June 1, which for some Mississippians, means a free chicken sandwich.
McDonald’s has announced that anybody who lives in the 601 area code is eligible for a free chicken sandwich. All they have to do is download the app, create a free account using their phone number, and order. No additional purchases are necessary.
“It’s just one of the many ways local McDonald’s owner-operators give back to their communities, including ongoing support for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mississippi,” a McDonald’s press release reads.
The 601 area code serves most of central and southern Mississippi.
As for those in north Mississippi, the 662 area code will be granted a free chicken sandwich on June 6.
