Authorities are investigating after a Memorial Day explosion took the life of at least one person in Yalobusha County.
Coroner Ronnie Stark confirmed to WTVA that the explosion happened sometime Monday evening at a home on County Road 272 in Tillatoba.
Stark said at the time of the explosion, there were three people inside. While the one fatality was confirmed, no injury status for the other two has been provided at this point.
As of now, it’s unclear what caused the incident. This article will be updated when more details become available.
