A fatal crash in Winston County has claimed the lives of six people, four of whom were children.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, a Kia Rio traveling east in Louisville collided with a Nissan Maxima heading westbound on Thursday just before 10:30 p.m. Both drivers, identified as 22-year-old Laqerious Brown and 25-year-old Sara Batchelor, were killed during the crash.
Police also report that an unidentified 16-year-old female, 6-year-old female, 3-year-old male, and 1-year-old female passed away as a result of the accident. Law enforcement is continuing to investigate the fatal incident.
