The Mississippi Highway Patrol’s entry into the annual ‘Best Looking Cruiser Contest’ carries a special tribute for 2021.

Seen above, the Dodge Charger featured in the MHP’s submission belonged to fallen Trooper John Harris. A member of the MHP Interdiction team, Harris was killed in the line of duty on May 28th after he was struck by a vehicle while conducting a traffic stop on Highway 16 in Yazoo County.

With the message of “Gone but never forgotten,” the MHP officially dedicated the submission, photographed at the Red Bluff Canyon in Marion County, in his memory.

The contest is hosted annually by the American Association of State Troopers with the top 12 being featured in the AAST’s annual calendar.
