Reports of a military helicopter crash have come out of northeast Mississippi.
Officials confirmed to WTVA that the crash took place in a wooded area off Highway 30 near Mount Olive Baptist Church in East Prentiss Friday afternoon.
The Mississippi National Guard reports that an Apache helicopter crashed during a routine training flight. No injuries or deaths have been announced at this time.
SuperTalk Mississippi News contacted the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Office for more information about the crash, but the law enforcement agency declined to comment on the matter.
