Mission Forest constructing $160 million sawmill in Corinth

Governor Tate Reeves has announced that Mission Forest Products is constructing a new, state-of-the-art sawmill in Corinth — a $160 million investment.

The facility will be one of the northernmost sawmills in the U.S. South and will have easy access to major growth markets like Memphis, Tenn., Nashville, Tenn., Chattanooga, Tenn., Huntsville, Ala., Birmingham, Ala., and midwestern states.

Located in a timber-rich region of the Magnolia State that borders a tristate area, Mission Forest will have the opportunity to become a major direct and indirect employer of hundreds of skilled mill and forest workers, including loggers, truck drivers, and forestry service providers.

Mission Forest is expected to bring in 130 new jobs with its new sawmill.
