A new underwater experience is available at the Mississippi Aquarium.
The aquarium has launched its SeaTREK experience— a helmet diving experience that “allows guests to become one with the Aquarium’s main Oceans Habitat while in a near zero-gravity diving system.”
In a news release, the aquarium stated that participants will get up close and personal with fish, sharks, rays and much more.
“We are excited to launch the SeaTREK experience,” Jeff Gibula, Mississippi Aquarium Director of Facility Operations, said. “This experience allows guests the unique opportunity to experience marine life up close, in our main habitat.”
Open to guests ages 10 and up, the experience is even available to non-swimmers. Lasting approximately 20 minutes, the SeaTREK is available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and must be booked in advance.
