Mississippi Blood Services is in dire need of donations.
According to officials, due to the recent wave of cold weather in the South, a huge chunk has been taken out of the state’s blood supply.
There is less than one day’s supply left on the shelves of the following blood types:
- O Negative
- O Positive
- B Negative
- B Positive
- A Negative
Those who are A Positive or AB Positive are asked to donate platelets.
