A couple of Mississippi blues artists are enjoying Grammy wins, taking home prizes at the 64th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night.
Clarksdale guitar-phenom Christone “Kingfish” Ingram scored a trophy in the Contemporary Blues Album category for “662.”
Holly Springs-bred Cedric Burnside, the grandson of blues legend R.L. Burnside, got his first win in the Best Traditional Blues Album category for ‘I Be Trying.”
