The National Children’s Alliance has given Children’s Advocacy Centers of Mississippi’s CEO Karla Steckler Tye their 2024 Outstanding Chapter Leader Award.
Tye was recognized for the award at the 2024 National Children’s Alliance Leadership Conference in Washington D.C. earlier this month. The Outstanding Chapter Leader Award recognizes a professional who has demonstrated perseverance and dedication to a National Children’s Alliance Chapter of Children’s Advocacy Centers through his or her professional endeavors.
“People around the country recognize and value Karla’s knowledge and commitment to the multidisciplinary response as the heart of the Children’s Advocacy Center model through her leadership of the Mississippi Chapter and her ongoing efforts to cultivate relationships among the myriads of child abuse professionals throughout the country,” said Cathy Crabtree, National Consultant with the Alliance.
Children’s Advocacy Centers of Mississippi is accredited through the National Children’s Alliance as the Mississippi Chapter. The chapter aims to revolutionize Mississippi’s response to child abuse through leadership, innovation, and education.
