Entertainment and pop culture enthusiasts in the Magnolia State will soon have the chance to convene in Jackson for a star-studded Mississippi Comic Con.
The highly anticipated event, celebrating its 11th year in the capital city, is slated to return to the Mississippi Trade Mart and Coliseum on the fairgrounds for an extended duration this year. Mississippi Comic Con will run from June 20-22, offering visitors an additional opportunity to catch up with celebrities and creators while dressing up as their favorite characters from various works.

This year will be headlined by Melissa Joan Hart, the face of the hit 1990s TV show Sabrina the Teenage Witch, along with Randy Quaid, best known for his comical role as Cousin Eddie in the National Lampoon’s Vacation films. Other guests include:

- Wallace Shawn (The Princess Bride, Toy Story franchise)

Per a release, in-show events will include Q&A sessions with celebrities, panels presented by professional cosplayers and artists, costume contests, gaming, photo ops, and more. Vendors and artists from across the country will set up and sell their wares. Local fan groups will exhibit displays and provide panels and performances throughout the weekend.
Advance discount tickets are available here. Single-day passes are $30 for Friday, $40 for Saturday, and $35 for Sunday, or attendees can purchase weekend passes for all three days for $75, with discounts available for members of the military. Children age 10 and under can attend free of charge.
