The Republican National Convention (RNC) kicked off today in Charlotte, North Carolina, and 40 Mississippi Republican Party delegates voted unanimously to name Donald J. Trump as the Republican nominee for President.
GOP Chairman, Lucien Smith, spoke on behalf of Governor Tate Reeves.
President Trump addressed the delegates earlier this morning.
The Republican National Convention continues through Thursday. Tonight’s speakers include Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, Congressman Steve Scalise of Louisiana, and Donald Trump, Jr.
