Mississippi Public Service Commission set to host telecom summit

Mississippi’s Public Service Commission is set to host a Telecom Summit to discuss the state’s information and communication sector.

The summit will feature keynote speakers from leading telecommunication companies, regulatory experts, and local government officials who will share insights on the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in Mississippi.

Speakers and attendees will gather for the summit on Tuesday, December 10 from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the commission’s courtroom in the Woolfolk Building in downtown Jackson.

“Connectivity is essential for economic growth, education, and quality of life in our communities,” the public service commissioners said in a joint statement. “This summit is an opportunity for us to collaborate with industry leaders and stakeholders to ensure our commitment that Mississippi remains at the forefront of telecom advancements. Together, we can work towards a more connected Mississippi.”
