Defensive back will be a huge priority for Mississippi State in the 2022 recruiting class, and on Wednesday, the Bulldogs added one of their top targets. Kylon Griffin, a 6’1″ 180 pound safety out of Montgomery, AL, gave his commitment to Coach Mike Leach’s squad.

Griffin is ranked as a three star prospect by 247 Sports. He picked the Bulldogs over offers from Florida State, Indiana, and Iowa. He becomes the 6th commitment for the 2022 class, and his addition pushes the Bulldogs to a #22 ranking nationally, #7 in the SEC.
