A portion of Mississippi State University’s campus was evacuated on Thursday afternoon following a bomb threat near Barnes & Noble and Cullis Wade Depot.

According to MSU Director of Public Affairs Sid Salter, an “all clear” was given at 1:19 p.m.

Salter also added that other Mississippi schools including Itawamba Community College and William Carey University recently received similar threats that were false alarms. On Wednesday, over 10 Alabama universities received bomb threats.
