Mississippi State Signing Day Central for the 2022 Class

Another glorious day for the fax machine, as National Signing Day is upon us yet again. Mississippi State is expecting a busy day with its commitments and potential additions, we’ll update each signee as they are made official right here throughout the day.

JACKSON CANNON

One of the first additions to this class back in March, Cannon picked the Bulldogs over offers from Ball State, Georgia Southern, and Marshall.

BRAEDYN LOCKE

A three start prospect out of Rockwall, TX, the heir apparent to the Air Raid finished his high school career as the all time leader in touchdown passes in Texas 6A football history. Locke threw for 11067 yards in his career, with 129 touchdowns against only 26 interceptions. He picked the Bulldogs over offers from Georgia Tech and Kansas.

LUCAS TAYLOR

A three star prospect out of Mobile, AL, Taylor flipped his commitment from LSU to the Bulldogs and became a stalwart of the class from that day forward. His offer sheet also includes Arkansas, Auburn, and Florida.

TRENT SINGLETON

A six foot, 190 pound athlete out of Raymond High School, Singleton will project as a safety in college. He picked the Bulldogs over offers from Air Force, Indiana, and Louisiana.

DONTERRY RUSSELL

The brother of current Mississippi State defensive end De’Monte Russell, the 6’4″ 200 pound defensive end out of Provine High School picked the Bulldogs over offers from Arizona State, Arkansas State, and Memphis.

JACKSON LAHUE

The latest addition to State’s 2022 class, LaHue flipped his commitment from Virginia Tech a week ago. He also had offers from some top academic schools, including Dartmouth, Columbia, and Harvard.

WESLEY MILLER

A top local talent, Miller starred at state champion Heritage Academy out of Columbus, MS. He picked the Bulldogs over offers from Florida State, Illinois, and Louisiana Tech.
