Mississippi Weather Outlook for Friday, Feb. 25

Taking a look at the forecast for Friday, it seems as if the sun is trying to come back out. However, the rain will be giving it a run for its money.

Northern Mississippi

Today will be mostly sunny in north Mississippi with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Come nightfall, it will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers shortly after midnight. Nighttime lows will be in the mid to upper 30s.

Central Mississippi

In the central portion of the state, it will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain in the morning before the sun begins to peek out in the afternoon. Highs will be in the lower 50s. At night, it is looking like it will be mostly cloudy with another chance of rain. Lows hovering around the 40s.

Southern Mississippi

Traveling south of the Jackson Metro and through the Pine Belt all the way down to the Gulf Coast, the weather for southern Mississippi looks to be much cooler today. It will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain in the morning with highs in the 60s throughout the day. It should be a cloudy night with highs in the upper 40s.
