The forecast for the last day of February is looking bright, as the sun shines without hesitancy despite the cloudy weekend.
Northern Mississippi:
Throughout today, temperatures will rise to the near-60s as the sun dissolves the patchy fog from this morning. Tonight, it will be mostly clear skies with thicker clouds that come later in the night. Temperatures will drop to the lower to mid-30s overnight.
Central Mississippi:
Today’s forecast is calling for sunny skies with highs in the lower-60s, with patchy fog in the early morning. As the sun sets, clouds will begin to roll in and temperatures will again drop to the mid-30s overnight.
Southern Mississippi:
The southern part of the state will see clear skies and warm weather with temperatures that range in the mid 60s. The cloudless weather will continue into the night where skies will be mostly clear. Temperatures are expected to drop again to the upper 30s for a typical Mississippi winter’s night.
