You’re definitely going to need an umbrella across Mississippi, according to the National Weather Service.
Northern Mississippi will be warmer today with a chance of showers and possibly some thunderstorms in the morning and afternoon. High’s will be in the mid 70’s. It will be cooler tonight with a chance of showers and thunderstorms continuing, lows will be in the upper 40’s.
For central Mississippi: Showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon, some of those could be severe. Highs will be near 80. That will continue through the evening with lows near 60.
In southern Mississippi: A slight chance of morning showers will increase as the day progresses with some thunderstorms possible in the afternoon. Highs will be near 80. Only a slight chance of showers after midnight, with lows in the mid-’60s.
