A school resource officer on the Mississippi Gulf Coast could spend time behind bars after being said to have committed sex crimes against children.
According to a release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, 38-year-old Isaiah Thomas was arrested on Wednesday. Thomas is alleged to have sexually abused minors from August to October of this year while serving as a resource officer with the Moss Point School District.
Thomas is charged with three counts of sexual battery and one count of enticing a child for sexual purposes.
He was granted a $30,000 bond for each charge.
