The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting 268 new cases of COVID-19.
The latest report brings the state’s total up to 304,210. With the confirmation of *11 additional deaths, 6,998 Mississippians have passed away from the virus.
*MSDH Note: 7 deaths occurred between February 25 and March 20, identified from death certificate reports.
After a few days of slight increases, overall hospitalizations dropped in the latest data from the MSDH.
As of Monday, an estimated 290,537 Mississippians have recovered from COVID-19.
