The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting 635 new cases of COVID-19.
The latest report—following higher weekend totals of 1,036 cases on Saturday & 900 on Sunday—brings the state’s total up to 282,313. With the confirmation of 1 additional death, 6,270 Mississippians have now passed away from the virus
Hospital data has not yet been updated, but heading into the weekend, overall hospitalizations had dropped below 800.
As the rollout continues to strengthen, Mississippi has surpassed 330,000 vaccinations across the state.
