After a slight delay, the Mississippi State Department of Health is now reporting 904 new cases of COVID-19.�
Today�s report brings the state�s total number of cases up to 80,110. With the confirmation of *58 additional deaths, 2,373 Mississippians have now passed away from the virus.�
MSDH Note: 44 confirmed COVID-19 related deaths between July 21 and August 18, identified from death certificate reports.
Following a slight uptick on Tuesday, hospitalizations continued on their downward trajectory in today�s report.�
