The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting 984 new cases of COVID-19.�
The latest report brings the state�s total up to 285,648. With the confirmation of 39 additional deaths, *6,429 Mississippians have now passed away from the virus.�
*MSDH Note: 28 COVID-19 related deaths occurred between December 10 and February 6, identified from death certificate reports.
Overall hospitalizations have continued to decline through the month of February, now dropping to 645.�
Currently, Mississippi has administered 392,391 doses of the vaccine. As of Monday, 253,140 Mississippians have recovered from COVID-19. �
