Phase 1A of the distribution plan reserves the initial doses of the vaccine for healthcare workers in the state. Starting next week, the MSDH will operate 18 drive-thru vaccination sites using the already-existing testing infrastructure built out in the first months of the pandemic.
The next phase of the MSDH’s distribution plan includes residents of long-term care facilities.
