The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) has confirmed 1,100 new cases of COVID-19.
Wednesday’s report brings the state’s total number of cases to 818,500. With zero additional deaths, the number of Mississippians who have passed away as a result of the virus stands at 12,489. Additionally, there are 112 ongoing outbreaks in long-term care facilities.
