MSDH reports 1,732 new COVID-19 cases

COVID-19 cases continue to rise across the state with the Mississippi State Department of Health’s confirming 1,732 new cases.

Tuesday’s update brings the state’s total number of cases to 850,618. With 14 additional deaths, the complete number of Mississippians who have passed as a result of the virus is now 12,560. In addition, there are currently 188 ongoing outbreaks in long-term care facilities.

As of Monday, 1,557,939 (52%) of Mississippi residents were fully vaccinated. To view the full MSDH report, click here.
