COVID-19 is continuing to cycle through the Magnolia State according to the Mississippi State Department of Health’s latest report confirming 1,805 new cases.
Wednesday’s update brings the state’s total number of cases to 852,423. With no additional deaths, 12,560 Mississippians who have passed as a result of the virus. Additionally, there are currently 188 ongoing outbreaks in long-term care facilities.
Mississippi is currently averaging 1,517 daily cases. As of Monday, As of Monday, 1,557,939 (52%) of Mississippi residents were fully vaccinated.
