2,212 more cases of COVID and 50 deaths are being reported by the Mississippi Dept. of Health this Friday, with 219 ongoing outbreaks in long term care facilities. This is the fourth day in a row we’ve seen less than 2,500 cases. In a COVID-19 Health Care Town Hall on Tuesday, Dr. Paul Byers of MSDH noted that Mississippi may be nearing the end of the current wave.
