MSDH reports 3,681 new COVID-19 cases from the weekend

COVID-19 is continuing to cycle through the Magnolia State, according to the Mississippi State Department of Health’s latest report confirming 3,681 new cases from the weekend.

Monday’s report brings the state’s total number of cases to 848,886. With one additional death, the total number of Mississippians who have passed as a result of the virus is now 12,546. In addition, there are currently 179 ongoing outbreaks in long-term care facilities.

As of Monday, 1,557,939 (52%) of Mississippi residents were fully vaccinated. To view the full MSDH report, click here.
