Multiple drugs, firearms confiscated in Noxubee County bust

Multiple different drugs and firearms were confiscated by authorities during a bust in Noxubee County.

The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics reports that agents worked with local police officers to gather the illegal substances and guns in Brooksville

36-year-old Detrick Lashawn Wells and 37-year-old Alphonso Roberto Wells were taken into custody at the scene.

Officers discovered and took the following during the bust:

  • 67 MDMA (Ecstasy) pills
  • 55 Xanax pills
  • 1.5 pounds of marijuana
  • 1 ounce of crack cocaine
  • 1 gram of powder cocaine
  • 3 firearms

The two suspects are charged with possession of marijuana, cocaine, and Ecstasy. Both face a charge for possessing a weapon as convicted felons.
