Natchez Balloon Festival to begin on Friday, October 14

The 37th annual Natchez Balloon Festival is right around the corner, with the event set to begin on Friday at 7:30 a.m. near the Rosalie Mansion.

This year’s festival is scheduled to feature live performances from The Molly Ringwalds, YZ Ealey, Nik Parr and the SelfLess Lovers, Tank and the Bangas, Drive-By Truckers, and America’s Got Talent finalist Chapel Hart.

Other activities at the festival will include fireworks, local food vendors, carnival games and rides, an arts and crafts fair, the Ed Godfrey Sports Tent, and a balloon flight every morning and afternoon.

Here’s the full schedule of events for the Natchez Balloon Festival:

Friday, October 14
  • Morning Balloon Flight – 7:30 a.m.
  • Afternoon Balloon Flight – 4:00 p.m.
  • Gates Open – 4:00 p.m.
  • Balloon Glow At Festival Site – 6:45 p.m.
  • Fireworks – 7:45 p.m.
  • The Molly Ringwalds – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 15
  • Morning Balloon Flight – 7:30 a.m.
  • Festival Gates Open – 11:00 a.m.
  • YZ Ealey – 11:00 p.m.
  • Nik Parr and the SelfLess Lovers – 2:30 p.m.
  • Afternoon Balloon Flight – 4:00 p.m.
  • Chapel Hart – 4:00 p.m.
  • Tank and the Bangas – 5:45 p.m.
  • Drive-By Truckers – 8:00 p.m.
Sunday, October 16
  • Morning Balloon Flight – 7:30 a.m.
  • Afternoon Balloon Flight – 4:00 p.m.
