A New Albany woman is heading into the new year with half a million dollars in her pocket.
The Mississippi Lottery Corporation announced that the lucky player won $500,000 with the purchase of a $20 My Lottery Dream Home scratch-off ticket. The woman, whose name has not been released, purchased the winning ticket from the Sprint Mart store at the corner of McCullough Boulevard and Coley Road in Belden.
