An Ocean Springs man faces up to 30 years in prison for enticing a juvenile to produce child pornography.
According to court documents, in January 2023, 30-year-old Eric Jason Fiorentino caused a minor in Kansas to produce visual depictions of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct. Using an internet chat platform for texts and live videos, Fiorentino produced and screen-captured the images on his cell phone in Jackson County.
Fiorentino pled guilty to the crime and is scheduled to be sentenced on March 12, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. A federal district judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations with the assistance of the Jackson County and Stone County Sheriff’s Offices and the Hesston, Kansas Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrea Jones is prosecuting the case.
