Officials searching for 4 escaped detainees, at least one expected to be in Texas

Officials are searching for four detainees who escaped from the Raymond Detention Center on Saturday night.

Dylan Arrington, Casey Grayson, Corey Harrison, and Jerry Raynes were discovered missing during Sunday morning’s headcount after a public works truck was reported stolen, according to Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones.

The stolen public works truck was found around noon in Spring Hill, Texas. Another vehicle, a red Chevrolet Silverado stolen from a residence near the detention center around 2:30 a.m. and believed to be connected to at least one of the escapees, was last seen on I-20 near Pearson Road in east Rankin County at 4:40 a.m. The license plate number is DBQ-7558.

Update: the stolen Hinds County Public Works Ford F-150 believed to be connected to the escaped detainees has been recovered in Spring Valley, TX. No updated information on the whereabouts of the escapees. We don’t believe all escapees traveled to Texas in the stolen truck.
