Following a 76-0 stomping of Furman in the season opener, three Ole Miss players have been named to Pro Football Focus’ National Team of the Week.
Quarterback Jaxson Dart ousted the likes of Georgia’s Carson Beck and Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders for the honor. The senior Rebel completed 22 of 27 passes for 418 yards while totaling six touchdowns. Dart also became the first SEC signal-caller since LSU’s Joe Burrow in 2019 to toss for over 350 yards in a half.
Joining Dart on the list was his top target in week one. Senior wideout Tre Harris picked up where he left off last season with eight receptions for 179 yards and two touchdowns. His 22.9 yards per catch were a team-best.
The Ole Miss defense didn’t go unnoticed by PFF, either, with senior Trey Amos landing one of two cornerback spots on the national list. The Alabama transfer was a lockdown defender against the Paladins with one interception, one pass breakup, and two solo tackles.

PFF pairs its National Team of the Week with conference-specific lists as well. Mississippi State’s Kevin Coleman was featured on the SEC Team of the Week after the junior hauled in five catches for 88 yards with a touchdown in a 56-7 win over Eastern Kentucky.
