Ole Miss moves up four spots in the AP poll to No. 16

The AP rankings are in with Ole Miss moving up four spots to No. 16.

On Saturday, the Rebels put together their first shutout since 2014, defeating Georgia Tech 42-0. Highlighted by a running game that’s accounted for the most yards in the Southeastern Conference through three games, Ole Miss is off to a 3-0 start for the second season in a row.

As for Mississippi State, it’s the first time this season that the Bulldogs did not receive a single vote following a 31-16 loss at the hands of LSU.
