Three people, including a juvenile, were injured in two separate shootings on Sunday in Ocean Springs.

According to Chief Ryan LeMaire, the Ocean Springs Police Department responded to reports of a shooting around 10 p.m. Sunday at the Blu Heat Hookah Lounge. Initially, no victims were found, but authorities later discovered two unidentified people were being treated at a hospital for gunshot wounds related to the shooting.

An investigation has led detectives to believe the shooting was sparked after a botched robbery of a PlayStation 5. Multiple vehicles were reportedly struck in the incident, and a suspect has not been identified in the case.

Another shooting injured one unidentified victim the same night at the Julep Room Lounge. A fight apparently broke out at the lounge and the victim was shot in the leg.

Vincent Jenkins of Pascagoula was arrested in connection with the Julep Room Lounge shooting and charged with aggravated assault with the use of a deadly weapon. His bond was set at $1 million.

Both shootings remain under investigation, and anyone with information about the cases is encouraged to call the Ocean Springs Police Department at (228)875-2211.
