A body found inside a military locker in Gulfport has been identified.
As reported by WLOX, Gulfport police were called to the area of 16th Avenue and 22nd Street on Thursday afternoon about a missing person. During their investigation, they found a body inside the wooden wall locker of a local home.
They then transported the body to the state crime lab in Pearl, where the victim was identified as John Gaither, a 42-year-old from Gulfport. An autopsy is set to be completed by Monday.
The TV station confirmed with GPD that one person had been arrested in connection to the case.
