The Powerball jackpot has risen to an estimated $620 million after no ticket matched all six numbers drawn on Wednesday night, making it the game’s fourth grand prize to climb over half a billion dollars in 2023.
The winning numbers from the last drawing were 27-35-41-56-60 with a Powerball of 16 and the Power Play multiplier of 2.
Although no one walked away with the grand prize total, one player in Mississippi matched four out of five white balls and the Powerball. The winning ticket, which was worth $100,000 with the Power Play option, was purchased from Clark’s in Laurel.
As for other players across the nation, two tickets in Kentucky and Rhode Island each won $1 million prizes after matching all five white balls.
Three other tickets, sold in Colorado, Kentucky, and Virginia, increased their winnings to $2 million by including the Power Play.
There were also 17 tickets nationwide that won $50,000 prizes, and eight tickets that won $100,000 prizes.
So far, there have been 30 consecutive drawings without a winner, with the last Powerball jackpot worth $1.765 billion being hit in California on Oct. 11. The next drawing is set for Saturday night at 10:59 p.m. ET.
The odds of winning the jackpot are one in 292.2 million.
