Following an hours-long outage on Monday that resulted in customers not being able to use their debit cards, Regions Bank has confirmed the issue as resolved.
Ashley Foster, media relations senior business partner at Regions, issued the following statement to SuperTalk Mississippi News:
“This morning, we were made aware of an issue with debit cards being declined for certain transactions, including ATMs. All impacted services have now been restored, and transactions are processing as normal. We apologize for any customer inconvenience – and we appreciate the diligence of our technology teams in providing a quick resolution.”
