Classic rock fans in central Mississippi are in for a treat as REO Speedwagon has announced that the band will be taking it on the run to the Brandon Amphitheater this spring.
On Wednesday, May 1, the legendary rock group will hit the stage to perform some of their most popular hits such as “Take It On the Run,” “Keep on Loving You,” “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” and “Roll with the Changes” at the outdoor venue.
REO Speedwagon is the recipient of many American Music Awards, most notably as a fan-favorite band and for their 1980 album Hi Infidelity.
Opening the show for the iconic band will be 38 Special, a rock group formed in the 1970s and best known for their song “Caught Up in You.”
Tickets for the concert will go on sale Friday, March 1 at 10 a.m. and will be made available here or at the amphitheater’s box office.
